Hello loves! As I recently got back from my short trip to New York, I thought it would be a great idea to share my experience with all of you. This is day one of the two days that I was in New York, enjoy!
I started my day off at the MOMA, which I absolutely enjoyed as an art lover. I made my way to the fifth floor with one of my friends, not expecting to see a whole bunch of famous paintings (which is exactly what we saw). We passed painting after painting and were honestly just blown away. I also do believe that the element of surprise completely made the experience ten times better.
My next stop was lunch at Fresh & co. During the entirety of this trip I tried my best to eat healthy and this just hit the spot. If you don’t already know of Fresh & co it is a great NYC health food chain that uses organic, fresh and local produce when making their meals. I absolutely loved the food and it kept my tummy satisfied all day!
Next my friends and I took the subway to Soho and spent some time shopping. It was a great way to explore a little bit of Soho! Before we left Soho, we stopped by Dean & DeLuca and after that we headed back to our hotel!
Later on that night, my friend and I went down to Times Square and had a great time acting like tourists in the city that never sleeps.
Traveling is such a great experience that I think everyone should be able to have at least once or twice in their lifetime. It’s a great way to see places you’ve never been to and to get in touch with your true self. Perhaps you’ll even learn something new about yourself that you didn’t even know.
Sincerely,
Amanda x
