First Outfit of the Year – With H&M

Hello lovelies, I hope that everyone has had a great start to the New Year! I decided to put this outfit together because even though the cold of winter is here to stay for the time being, it doesn’t mean that one can’t have some fun dressing up despite worrying about being warm. This black blouse with ruffle details aligning to the shape of a “V” gives great detail to the outfit seeing as I’ve paired the blouse with some blue striped trousers. To finish the look I added my Jeffrey Campbell black boots.

To take care of keeping myself warm, I’ve left the task to my long blue wool blend coat along with my new favourite scarf that could practically serve as a small blanket. These two alone keep me warm in the cold weather.  Another great way to keep warm is to wear arm warmers. They’re the perfect solution for coats that have larger sleeves that still might let cold air travel up the arm. Mine are a colour blocked red and grey that are from Nine West. This way I can stay warm and not worry about taking my gloves on and off while on my phone as well as add a pop of colour to any outfit. Last but not least, I’m wearing this gorgeous but simple wool hat from H&M. All in all, I simply adore this outfit combination whether you’re planning to go out somewhere with friends, if you’re off to the office, or are just in the mood to dress it up a little bit!

Sincerely,

Amanda x
